Should the potential size and composition of the audience affect whether content should be classified?
As with Question 6, the strong response to this question was one of ‘yes’, with ‘no’ being very much an outrider position. Relevant factors that can be identified in the clusters include: the artistic merit of the work; the likelihood of children having access to the content; and the likely composition of the audience. It was also noted that publicly available media content already tends to have significant regulation, whether by government or industry, as indicated by the cluster of terms at the top of the infograph.
